Founded in 2012, Dracula Technologies designs, develops, and manufactures LAYER®, a printed technology that generates energy from ambient light. As pioneers in printed organic electronics, we provide innovative solutions to meet the energy challenges posed by the growing number of connected devices, all within a sustainable approach. In a context of rapid growth, we are recruiting a Development Engineer to advance our energy storage solution.
You will join a dynamic and passionate team of 40 people, where commitment, results-orientation, curiosity, and a positive work atmosphere are key values.
MISSIONS
Within the R&D department, contribute to the development of energy storage components, such as supercapacitors.
Contribute to product development (optimization and stability).
Conduct literature and technical review on the relevant development topics.
MAIN ACTIVITIES
R&D:
Contribute to the development of energy storage components, such as supercapacitors.
Actively work on the continuous improvement of storage devices.
Ensure proper documentation and follow-up of tests.
Stay up-to-date with evolving standards, materials, and technological advances.
Conduct bibliographic and technical monitoring in the field of energy storage.
Management:
Supervise the work of a development engineer.
Product Improvement:
Adjust product specifications based on test results and user requirements.
Create different versions of the product or a custom version based on customer orders.
Enhance product features through technological and competitive monitoring.
Support production and product launch.
Collaborate with the sales team on client innovation needs.
POSITION IN THE ORGANIZATION
Reports to the CTO.
Works in collaboration with Production, R&D, and support functions.
EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE
PhD in energy storage, particularly in printed supercapacitor technology.
First experience in the company’s field is desired; entry-level candidates are welcome.
Preferably with knowledge in chemistry, physical measurements, and electrochemistry.
Technical Skills:
Expertise in printed electronics, electrochemistry, and organic photovoltaics (OPV).
Control, testing, and diagnostics management.
Monitoring, analysis, and document management.
Ability to learn and use specialized software.
Technical English proficiency.
